After-School Under-12 Program
Pre-teen Group Clubs
Pre-teen clubs are offered as part of this curriculum; participation must be approved by each child's guardian.
• Torch Club (ages 10-13): character, leadership, community service, club Service, fundraising, etc.
• Smart Moves (ages 10-13): health and life skills, drug & alcohol prevention, promote teamwork and self-esteem
• Smart Girls (ages 10-13): coping with changes, self-esteem, role-playing, problem solving
• Youth for Unity (ages 10-13): helps youth understand and backgrounds, different cultures, backgrounds, and lifestyles.
Tutoring
Members MUST sign up for tutoring! Tutoring is offered on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is FREE, but participation is completely dependent on the availability of volunteers. Tutoring sessions are one hour per week, per school semester. (Tutoring is not offered during the summer!)
